The current classification method has insufficient evidence in the original baseline window. The window is preserved; no long-term improvement or decline is inferred, and old-method scores are not compared.

What explains the change
Experience change and discussion-mix change are separated. These are observational contributions, not proof of cause.
No category has enough samples in both windows for a contribution conclusion.

Lifecycle scores use the same experience-signal weights as the main index, without sample shrinkage after n=30. They measure public user perception, not model capability or backend causes.

Having said that there was a problem I spent 8 months trying to figure out and Fable was the only thing that could ever crack it.

Over the last year I built a full Intellectual Property Management software suite.
I recently used Fable and Opus to refactor it into a consolidated app - this is proving to be a bit tricky as so many features and functions got dropped.
Comment context
I'm still running multiple agents, but Astra is heads above on the single task. I haven't given it the same design challenges as Fable yet for broad spectrum. I balance tasks with each agent taking the lead based on where my tokens are. The thing is they each find issues the other did not identify. Fable does seem to have more breadth, but Astra really pushes for metrics based success.

只要能跟fable持平的智力水平就够了

I really need Gemini's world knowledge. As long as it can match Fable's intelligence level, that's enough for me. I dare not hope for Astra.

我非常需要gemini的世界知识,只要能跟fable持平的智力水平就够了,我不敢奢望Astra。
Comment context
Astra is deeper intelligence for the hardest tasks, optimization, debuging, and computer use, installing stacks, migrations, networks, etc.

But any human knows when you dip your left wing down, (the right wing up) - you are banking to the left. As the plane nose goes to the left we expect to see the ground slide past the window from left to right. My local model (Qwen 3.8 27b) got it wrong and had the ground slide from right to left - exactly backwards. I bumped the project up to Sonnet, Opus and eventually Fable. None of them could fix it.
Comment context
when I use fable for 2 minutes 5% of my weekly max usage is gone lol
Comment context
Comparing with the Claude 100$ - I was still getting way more value in terms of usage and almost always never ran out of usage by alternating between Fable 5 and Opus 5.

fable 那时候名正言顺的糊弄我女友论文的原理基础,说的她叹服觉得 fable 好厉害,结果 GPT5.6Sol 和 fable 对峙立马原形毕露
Comment context
But Claude $20 still gave vastly more usage on Fable release than Codex $20 for Astra release.
Comment context
Hopefully they don't join the other trend of making the models super censored w all these classifiers.
