I try to keep up with some discord servers I am active in. But with 100+ messages a day and constant notifications popping up it was overwhelming.

How do you guys deal with updates? https://preview.redd.it/s2ktdhi7qysh1.png?width=764&format=png&auto=webp&s=ea8ebf42bb69023234b536541b122175f808df38 There are hundreds of changes daily if not thousands. I found myself spending a lot of time updating the client and backend

Use your Hermes agent to book you the accommodation.

Idk, the desktop app’s “solution” for this is a button that shows how many commits were made since your last update and runs hermes update, unless they have a plan for actually fixing this

They will change the way updates are handled vía desktop app, but they should be working on a branch apart of ongoing updates. That would be better, so main is really the main stable branch

I would like to see, at the bottom of every response, the input and output tokens used. For a bonus, I'd also like it to say the model used and the cost. Is this possible? Eventually, I'd also like to track this. I use Slack and have multiple channels in which Hermes is hit. I would like to get per-channel input/output per model.

Why cant my model call tools properly? hey so I am new to Hermes and AI agents in general and I have hermes running within docker. I am using hermes desktop app with ollama and whenever I try to call tools, it comes out with the same error. "tool_call requires 'calls' (an array of {name, arguments})".

I tried a gemma 24B MoE and it made Hermes really useless with all sorts of issues.

Use matrix instead of discord, telegram, etc.

Making wallpapers. I just got started with paid AI. I figured that, rather than get wallaper for my computer from Google Images, I would try making my own. However, the Studio tool with NanoGPT wouldn't let me just put in pixel dimensions (eg: 1920x1080); it was making me pick an aspect ratio.

I had downloaded Hermes before I tried this, and thought it didn't fit my needs (I want my conversations synched between my desktop, laptop, and phone, and I am not running a server) but I figured that since I had already installed it, I would see if I could tell it "make XYZ kind of wallpaper at 1920x1080" without having to deal with aspect ratios.

How well does it handle Hermes tools?

What local model are you running with Hermes and on what hardware
Comment context
Yes, doing hermes update on the laptop fixed things.
