To keep me and stay ahead, Manus needs to keep improve the Flex function and also keep enhancing its interface and native agentic features/capabilities. If one of them starts to drop off or a competitor has a much better option, then i'll go back to only using Manus for what I need it for rather than for everything.

For me, Manus Flex has been a big differentiator. If they can keep enhancing the Flex feature so that I can chat away with any model I choose via my API, and then get Manus to use its features/capability for execution (build the website, create the presentation/report, complete the agentic task, etc.), then it wins for me.

I am in the same boat u/KitchenAny3585. they are just drag things so much for people to give up. worst they sent me refund points and give me 3 days to use it.. but not my $$ that i spent based on their promise of 90% discount for returning users after data restore.

I use manus because they have hosting, database and domain services. Its so easy to build a website with manus. If i would use claude i need to manage the hosting and database myself.

Who would trust it? Look at all the "I signed up for the free trial and got billed for a year" posts we've had here.

Trying to download it to install it, Opera GX blocked the download, it gave me a virus detected warning, I couldn't even check with Microsoft Defender and McAfee (I also use it for analysis), I think the best is not to take the risk.

Thanks Leo but Manus itself warned me not to download any other version than the one the Manus Team will provide me. I already downloaded CUE but that did not help either.

Just note that the Preview installer is not digitally signed, so Windows may show a warning when launching it.

yup, i normally use manus for creating plugins for my minecraft server. ive been using manus for about a year and a half and so far everything's going soooo well. with this manus flex addition i'll definitely use it muchhh more.

When I used the prompt to fix it inside Manus, the work it did using 2.0 used in insane amounts of credits to get done on 2 projects.

They broke their software, broke my work flow, I can’t use Manus….what a mess.

I pinned those chats and they don’t appear under my projects but I can make them display sometimes.

Manus support is no help.

My most important agent chats are no longer functioning. I can find them by searching my profile for key words and then when I try to continue with the chat it just says it’s Working but hangs.

When it was popular at the beginning of 2025, after applying for an invitation code, there was never any response.

Located in Foshan, when I opened manus.im, it clearly told me that my region is not available.

I moved my businesses for three reasons: poor customer service, poor Manus performance and exorbitant cost.

It would be nice if Manus mentioned that before telling me to go download their app....while disabling the old Agent that I've been using so heavily.

The main reason why I can never rely on Manus is their credit system. I have no idea how much they will charge me, and whether the output will meet my requirements or if I'll have to keep paying them indefinitely.

At the time I compared Kimi, GenSpark, and ChatGPT side by side, and after all that comparing, Manus still produced the most aesthetically pleasing PPTs with the best layout and design sense.

This is a huge deal considering I've moved to Muse, Grok, and a competitors due to your pricing model

Recently my chatgpt subscription has been outperforming Manus for my purposes.

Avoid the agent like the plague. Switch models in TASKS.

I moved everything I built with Manus, especially the Android apps and web apps, over to GitHub and now continue working on them in Claude. It was absolutely worth it.
