V5.5 was trash but V6 definitely takes the price! Kind of miss V5.5. Just saying in comparison!

v6 is such a drastic improvement from 4.5 in every genre I've tried I don't understand how anyone could say otherwise. Do you make generic house music or something? 4 on the floor club music? v6 is so much more creative than 4.5 there is no comparison

Turning off variety mode doesn't eliminate the problems I have with v6. I just hate how v6 sounds full stop.

You can't ask Suno to reproduce an instrument that is not in its library (which is not extraordinarily extensive, by the way). Going outside this list exposes you to restitution quirks.

My dream, by the way, would be to get a real silence of two or three seconds after the end of a track instead of a fade out that ends in a fish tail. If someone has the magic recipe - and that works - I'm interested.

Suno V.6 no longer reflects what up to V.5.5 it had managed to deliver as a product; by now it's useless for them to come and tell fairy tales and therefore give money to a product that is no longer valid.

For Suno took me I would say 5 hours to replicate the original idea and make it more interesting.

If you really love some creation, I suggest find a way to replicate or made it by you own, and not use the Suno generated directly (for watermarks and other things that may come, even if you payed for the "licence")

If they don't change something (which I doubt, since it was running on illegal data), the new restricted data they train on leads to really bad results. Clear and easy prompts get ignored completely and everything sounds the same. If I do 50 songs, it is the same idea over and over with very little variation.

What works here is that AI is serving the creative idea, not replacing it. It makes it so much easier to connect with both the music and the characters on an emotional level.

Honestly, yes, a lot of people absolutely will dismiss anything suno has touched as “AI slop”.

There will also be some people who accept what you are doing, and there is nothing wrong with using what tools are available to you.

All I’ve had to do is use the REMASTER function, then Remaster the Remastered version again.

So I just added Wesley Snipes to the very end of the prompt generated it got two songs then I hit the shuffle button that cleans up your prompts using the Wesley Snipes still in there got two more and wouldn't you know all four of them were better than the ones I was judging.

I use Suno to turn it into songs I can listen to. Being able to hear my own words in a song. I post some to YouTube, and have even made a couple videos. The videos are made through ai and are honestly laughably bad. But it’s kind of fun making the videos regardless of how bad they are. The music is the main part though, it’s my own lyrics. And I spend many hours, and many credits on Suno trying to generate the perfect song.

It works great for rap, idk what everyone is crying about, wah fucking wah, you could never make music before, now given the privelidge to be able without any real skill, yet people are still complaining, what a arrogant race have we turned into 🫪

Despite this the music I create with Suno - to me - is way better than most of the cr@p in the radio today.

The second anyone ai critical hears the synthetic sheen and AI artifacts, they’ll write it off as slop. It won't matter that the melodies and lyrics took twenty years to write, the software just flattens your intent into a statistical average.

If i listen example the V6 Suno Labs new genre wheel samples where most of them sound really good. Question is why our songs turn out much worse (not always thats the strange part). Makes me think those Lab examples are fine tuned and not realistic output what especially paying customers excpect to hear using pro model.

V6 is better if you make Pop. Anything outside of that bubble? Good luck

Again, I'm convinced that V6 is still a much better engine then the former ones, but still agree it's limited in it's creativity if you don't kick it in the balls first.

Maybe Suno isn't the best for Metal, but there are other options!

To be more clear, the issue is that every song starts with a frantic picking of the guitar and I cant get rid of it. I used a GPT made for SUNO to structure everything properly. I CAN NOT get the sound I want anymore, its crazy. Been trying for days with miles of Chat gpt history trying to figure it out.

I came here to search for answers to why my metals song are so trash now with v6. I see I'm not alone. I have good songs way back from v3.5 and saved voices on each version in between that sound trash on v6.

Every single genre I’ve tried with all the 6 models is garbage. 5.5 made me incredible songs I still listen to. Every session I try to go in and make something with 6 it’s lifeless, muddy, and sounds like AI made it.

solo, it takes way longer than people expect, but suno makes it worth the effort since you can test a new lyric in seconds.
