It's not locked, it's just another pathway that I can send workflows to if vanilla Muse isn't working(bot detection) or doesn't have something built in. I don't have to use the Ubuntu server, Muse just has it available if it needs it.

Don't see why not since it's just a different flavor linux, it just likely won't be the fastest if you're doing multiple browser tabs work or anything else on the pi when it's running playwright

I really haven’t dove inti meta capabilities at all but got muse and am very impressed.

This is their plan to monetize it It's genius to be honest. If millions of people make 10 million transactions per day, and the cut that goes to Muse is 50 cents per transaction, that's 5 million dollars a day loooooool Literally it is a money printing machine that they are in the process of building

Another benefit of using Muse is that it's just really cheap, especially if you use the contributor program, which you may or may not want to do because it gives Meta permission to train its models on the code that it is producing.

I haven't taken a look at the latest benchmarks, but Muse is very, very close to what Codex and Claude provide. If you don't need absolute frontier intelligence like GPT-6 or Fable-5, then Muse absolutely can do that.

There may be some way to track usage but I legitimately have probably decreased my ChatGPT usage about 80-90% for personal use. I’m a SWE so I still do professional development thru Codex. Personal coding work is done thru Muse Spark. Meta really has done a great job here

I had to set up browsing to my Ubuntu server for literally this exact reason for delta but it was going to come in Handy for other use cases too Tldr is tailscale + PC on your home network + muse. Muse has a tailscale connector so it can route browser requests to a desktop machine on your local network.

I don’t shop on amazon, I talk to muse about what I want and when I figure it out I have it added to a product tracker artifact and it lists the top three prices online. If Amazon is blocking muse then Amazon just doesn’t show up in my search results so it’s their loss.

Muse is having some issues today for me. Trouble connecting. Maybe you ran into that.

I booked car rentals for 3 separate upcoming trips and I have some very specific stipulations. I have a few daily sweeps running for employment opportunities and real estate. My wife has it and we sync a calendar together through Muses. 

Nothing I can't do with Claude, just far easier, quicker, and "cheaper".

But damn, Muse is pretty slick so far. 

I don't want it to get to viral lol then meta will get cocky and lower the free tiers usage. I use mine all the the time and I'm only at 20% usage.

I tried asking mine and it just used the percentage to estimate how many tokens I’ve used but yea seems like it’s being vague.

Yeah there are definitely ways around Muse's resistance not to work with anyone but you.

don't think exit note (route all traffic) would solve the muse VM inbound limitation.

It creates a 10-15 minute custom podcast for me every morning (published to my Apple Podcasts app) that summarizes my favorite sports teams and league highlights, the top 3-4 news stories of the day, and gives a rundown of my work meetings and top work to-dos for the day.

But I use Lightroom CC and I have LRc Library syncing issues so I avoid Classic. This is the only way to 'delete raw files' with LRcc * Built a Todo/Projects Artifact that logs every task that Muse is handling so I can see what's the progress of things instead of asking all the time. * Connected Finances and have it work through budgets and stuff. I'm still working on improving on how to make this work better for me. * Connected Apple Health and asked it to give me a check-in 4 times a day and give me a summary of how my vitals are looking, what to look out for. How's my health progress. * Asked it to look for and codes in my email and check if I've redeemed it all. I had $200 worth of Uber Eats gift cards I forgot to redeem. * Asked it to keep a news feed of stuff relating to my career locally that updates once a week.

I used it to make hotel reservations and Mini Me came through like a champ.

yes, I have been learning Spanish and taking lessons, and Muse has been very helpful with this

I used my Mini Me to search all states I've lived in to see if I had any unclaimed money.

I had my muse create a connection to access the data found within my car's app and monitor it, and it notifies me if anything needs attention. It also monitors odometer and prompts me to get certain car maintenance items completed depending on what the odometer is reading

It's way better for monitoring than coding but even that requires your own infrastructure for it to be useful otherwise it just kind of wings it.

It’s great if you’re learning something, because it can initiate the drill, lesson, test, etc. at whatever frequency you choose. It takes away the trying to find motivation to get started on your own.

I’m really enjoying using the app. I have found some practical uses (workout routine, budget tracker, side hustle development).

If you're making money with Muse, no reason not to upgrade.

I use mine all day long basically and haven't ever used more than 100 million tokens in a single day.

Not sure about unique but I have been using it to sell things on eBay and fb marketplace. I just snap a few pictures and tell it to ask me a few relevant questions about the item and to find a good sellable price and it does the rest (I have to log in for it of course). I have been too lazy to do it and this makes it way easier.

I have my avatar wearing a seasonal autumn-themed sweater right now. Batching made it a lot easier and faster. While fucking around with that, I found that muse could inspect in VM while sub agent couldn't, so I worked on the workflow

Kill switch is non négociable, while trying out the pilot for my night inspection, sub agent drifted and started asking for password manager info, the stop was long because I implemented a pause safely before stop. But you do need a real stop
