Yes I tried to split them in studio to work on them and this is basically what happened.. 🤷‍♂️ couldn't put it back together, because it sounded totally messed up.

With 4.5, V5, 5.5, you could put in a simple command and get a fantastic result. But that's not the case anymore. V6 takes a lot more effort. It doesn't work with the simple prompts anymore. That's not the fault of the prompter. That's the fault of the engine.

Suno is a bit paranoid when it comes to artist names. Sometimes to the cringe levels.

In my case, the stems turned out pretty lousy from the mix I applied the remaster to.

I've been successful so far with 'unpolished.' For me it stripped away a lot the over engineered generic sound.

For that I enjoy creating Voices kinda in the zone of what I want. I am the worst singer but Suno does a good job of making it work well enough.

I just clicked the link for this without reading the body of your message, and I thought at the end of it, good instruments, good lyrics, good topic, but the voice could do with having more character..and then I see you message and see that it seems like that is Suno dropping the ball there. It's not that the voice is bad but there is something in me going, man, I wish there was an extra characterful voice with that to take this where it belongs.

I think you found a useful prompt trick, but I don’t think Frictional HCI has much to do with it. Suno responds well to specific music-production terminology. “Unpolished,” “studio performance,” synth types, pads, arpeggios, dynamics, arrangement language - those give the model a more specific target.

But I wondered what would happen if I told Suno to blend Flamenco and Metal. It didn't do it as well as the late, great Benjamin Woods, but it came out better than I was expecting.

I loved that I was thinking, “What the hell is this???” in a GOOD way the entire time. Good beat and vibe and especially, especially loved the lyrics. This is the kind of shit (pun almost intended) I’m here for.

I like the overall delivery on this track—trendy, current, and catchy. I also really like how the background piano stays engaging and anchors the whole thing. * Right when I was about to say verse 2 needed some variation, it hit with a very interesting switch-up.

I actually kind of wished chorus 2 felt a bit more "flowy" without that stop-and-go drum pattern. But yeah, I know that's one of the hardest things to instruct in Suno.

Love the extended harmonies in the intro melodies! Very unique and the drums are solid. Super catchy.

For this, everything works well and I love the echo/reverb but the rampup around 1:20 is fantastic.

But there are a bunch of hyped up fanboys who let people with legitimate criticism know rather condescendingly that they just don't know how to prompt yadda yadda and that v6 is the best thing since sliced bread, which it is not, at least not for quite a few genres in general. Plus the obvious sound issues across the board.

Suno does not require you to jump through hoops to make it usable.

Try to not use the Turbo model for ace-step then? Ace-Step 1.5 works well for lyrics on the standard model with 30 steps.

I had low expectations for V6 but I at least expected it to at least have some redeemable qualities, but it is worse in every way imaginable for me.

Same, just wasted 550 credits this morning trying to post a new release and couldn't do it, just gave up submitted feedback either way, very very disappointed.

The beats are really strong/ distracting , can't really listen.. but generation is otherwise amazing.

I'm talking about the drum sound too loud, vocal is muffled and the volume inconsistencies that kind of audio problem weirdness not music style and prompt stuff

V5.5 was trash but V6 definitely takes the price! Kind of miss V5.5. Just saying in comparison!

I've been using Suno since it debuted on Discord and have rolled 100k songs, so I know cherry-pickin one generation that worked don't prove this model isn't shitty.

yer i can see why you think that and im starting to think simaler i started to mess around with hooks and i made 4 only one seem active and i have something like a 64% lto when i made the hook for the song thats looks like its taken of i see no movevmnt on the rest of my profle no likes on the hook or main song so im simply not convinsed suno platform follower counter like counter or view counter means anything and its pot luck you music or reels get shownthis is a snap shot of the moent i took it and i do not see traction on anything else and im debateing getting rid of my subcription at this rate

v6 is such a drastic improvement from 4.5 in every genre I've tried I don't understand how anyone could say otherwise. Do you make generic house music or something? 4 on the floor club music? v6 is so much more creative than 4.5 there is no comparison

Yes custom model, and uploading my own audio, but the variety slider takes my unique prompts and totally destroys them with cliches that make everything sound like generic top 40 Musak
