Why do I have to pay for a lot of cursor quota I dont need just to get grok bot?

I spent $180 on Grokbot to do fuck all.

I used Grok Bot as my CoS who looks after my Hermes bots. Easier.

grok bot does have free messaging capabilities thru Inkbox. works great.

I can torture the hellcootmof supergrok and still r usage left over yet on grok bot 4-5 days into the 7 I’m running out They aren’t doing as much work as supergrok so must be inefficient compared to it

I like the multi thread experience of grok bot, it's slick without context rot like you get when trying to recreate that in telegram for your Hermes agent.

Usage drain was abysmal for supergrok heavy, though I've heard they did some work to make it better.

Cursor as it got better def changed my life with building projects, would add grok bot to that.

This just resulted in the Grok Bots using CLI to edit a single line or a single function. I did an analysis of a full several hour session, they called CLI hundreds of times, and still burnt through my whole usage in one session. I'm on the Heavy plan, and it still feels incredibly restrictive, I wish the pool were just shared because Grok Bots are WAY better workers especially on the visual side.

So bye bye grokbot, muse, spark, dots and instinct.

But customers are paying for the version that exists today, and that version can be criticized on its current pricing, limits and usability.

If a paid tier is so inadequate that the answer to someone actually trying to use it is “pay more,” then questioning the value and limits of that tier is completely reasonable. “We all know the limits” also doesn’t solve the lack of transparency around how much different tasks consume or how much usable work the allowance actually represents.

$25 doesn’t get you much from any model with the capability of grok bot, I bet none of the $20 plans have the same capabilities, but feels like you get more purely due to chat.

If using those features means I need to constantly monitor token consumption, carefully ration reasoning effort and build another bot just to make sure my other bots aren’t consuming too much, then the usage system itself becomes part of the workload. I’m not expecting unlimited usage, and I’m not saying efficiency doesn’t matter. I’m saying the limits should better reflect the kind of work the platform itself encourages people to do, and users should have much clearer visibility into what different tasks are actually costing them before they suddenly hit the ceiling.

Yep, the one thing Dots have over Grok Bot right now.

But so far for me this workflow has been working pretty well. Lots of scheduled routines using many different services, never hit the weekly limits yet on a Cursor Pro sub (20 / month).

I’ve have the same problem. If you watch the computer as it’s operating the website, it is excruciatingly slow.

The grokbot UI is cool but muse offers basically the same for free.

Yeah it normally does work for me fine, but today it's been fucking up everything

I use it to create tiktok slides every day for different topics and send it as a draft to my tiktok inbox so in the tiktok app i only have to review it, maybe add a sound and publish it. saves me a lot of time and i like that it does it on its own every day on a specifc time, i can do it from everywhere and tell the bot to do another draft or change the current one.

With supergrok you get separate quotas for grok and grokbot for $30.

All I can say is if you’re starting out you may find the lower tiers to be too low for GrokBot.

GrokBot can be helpful but it’s token heavy

It can export in a myriad of ways. Ask it to maintain a database or spreadsheet and it can put it in your onedrive.

I’ve used a bunch but Grok took a huge leap last month, so I doubled down a the top tier subscription.

That opacity is where coherence dies: the agent's picture of you quietly drifts week to week and you can't diff it.

Muse was able to get round Shopee captcha but Grok bot couldnt even with the route traffic.

Chatgpt is enough for it , why i spend grok credit for this. Useless
